Course Syllabus

The course will include attendance at online virtual sessions, the opportunity to meet with the facilitator/mentor, and completion of assignments.  There will be 14 total hours of classroom time to include a 3-hour long initial meeting, followed by seven 1-hour long sessions, and a 3-hour long closing session to present culminating projects and complete the course evaluation.  The final culminating project presentation will allow the participant to provide evidence of having developed the capacity to facilitate personnel practices which focus on high quality instruction. These presentations will take place on May 9, 2023.

All online sessions will be recorded for viewing at a later date, but when unable to attend a "live" session, an alternative assignment will be required before hours can be awarded.  PACTA is ONLY permitted to submit all 40 hours for this PIL; there are no partial hours.  Therefore, your commitment must be to participate in all components of the program.

The introductory online (virtual) session will be held on February 6, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will receive information on how to register for the session prior to the date.  Remember, you must register for the PIL through PACTA even though you may have requested it on your Technical Assistance Plan (TAP) MOU.
